PERSONALITY

To Hyuuga Haru, elegance is everything. He cares much for his appearance, and could be called a bit of a narcissist; in love with his own mirror image. He is also rather arrogant, and believes himself to be better than his peers, and is especially cocky towards Bunke members of his clan. While being male himself, Haru dislikes most males, finding them too rough and without elegance, while he will look to women with a more accepting gaze, though he still considers himself more elegant and beautiful than any girl he's ever seen. He sees himself as a prodigy of his clan, and the rightful heir to the Hyuuga "throne". In battle, Haru tries to add a certain grace to every move he makes, and he usually is not very fond of fighting, due to it being a "messy and unrefined business."

APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE

Haru stands at 5'6" and has a slender and flexible figure. He has semi-long black hair which covers his right eye most of the time. Like all Hyuuga, his eyes are a pale white. Clothing wise, he prefers something that shows skin, and is usually seen with a black short vest over a tank top of the same color, a pair of matching hakama and a pair of sandals to cover his feet. He carries a shuriken holster on his right thigh, and a supply pouch on his lower back. He keeps his Hitai ate on his forehead.

HISTORY

Born into the Souke of the Hyuuga clan, though not as a successor to the Hyuuga seat of power, the young Haru was constantly reminded of how close he was to power without being able to seize it. This did not bother the boy at first, but the older he got, the more it got to him. Why was it not him? He who was so beautiful, elegant and altogether perfect? He should ahve been the successor of the clan. Enraged, the boy began training, fighting off his hate of sweat and physical work in order to show that he was much better than any other. As he started in the academy, he had already mastered the simple principles of Juuken Ryuu, ever refining the art and adding his own elegant touch to it. He proved a capable student when it came no Ninjutsu, as well as Taijutsu, even if his frame was not the strongest, and his stamina was lacking.

In the academy, he had no friends, not that he felt he needed any. People found him arrogant and weird, which they might have been right in. Haru did not care, and kept living a life alone, hsi eyes set on his prize: The Hyuuga succession line. He would show that talent was greater than blood, even if he had to sweat a little to get there. towards the end of his life as a fifteen year old, he finally escaped the academy, having mastered the Hakkeshou Kaiten and Hakke Kuushou techniques, though he was not done yet. Much had to be done, much had to be learned, and he was not about to give up.

PERSONALITY

Like most, if not all, Guren, Kurenai is of a sadistic and masochistic personality. She enjoys causing pain to others as much as herself, and when bored, she can be found cutting herself before closing it up again using her Chi Ihou technique. Besides this trait, and her sometimes irrational actions when excited, she is actually truly a loyal person, to her friends as well as village.

In battle, she seeks to get her blood mixed as much as possible with her enemies, so she can humiliate, torture and kill them using her bad blood techniques.

APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE

Kurenai stands at 5'10", and is of a slender build. She has exceptionally long, black hair, which leaves her forehead free, where she keeps her Maroon colored hitai-ate. She wears a thick shirt of a reddish. brown color on her upper body, with only a pair of black short shorts to cover her legs, if you don't count her knee-high boots, which are also black. She carries her ninja tools in a supply pouch on her lower back, as well as a shuriken holster on her right thigh.

HISTORY

Guren Kurenai was named after many famous ninja within the clan. Born a cold october night in Mizu no Kuni, she was destined for great things, being the daughter of the clan head, Guren Chisatsu. As she grew up, she was put under close surveillance at all times, the leader fearing to lose the only child he had. Meanwhile, she was taken through extensive studies of the human body, and learned her first Chisoujuu Jutsu at the tender age of Nine.

As a Genin, which she became at eleven, she was only ever taken on easy missions, her father still fearing for her safety in the dangerous world of shinobi. She became a bit of a rebel as she grew into her teenage years, and as a Chuunin, aged fourteen, she would often bail on her guardians in order to feel a bit of freedom, and train her blood techniques in peace.

At eighteen, she was promoted to Jounin, and her father could no longer keep her under watch. She was now a strong, independent woman, and was almost done with her studies on how to run the clan, which she had started around her sixteeth birthday. At nineteen, her father passed away on a mission, and she was appointed head of the clan, though her mother did just as much of the work as she did, while she learned the ropes.

When the village of Konohagakure was formed that same year, she was one of the first in her clan to propose they did the same; allying with other clans in order to grow stronger. If they did not, they would most likely fall behind and soon enough, become extinct. Along with other clans, the Guren, under her lead, came together and formed Kirigakure a year after that, however, she was not taken up as a candidate for Kage, maybe because people were still unsure of if they should put trust in a clan that sacrificed their blood for jutsu. She did not mind though, and instead swore fealty to her Kage, and to always fight in their name.

PERSONALITY

Igen is probably not your typical Kage. Happy-go-lucky by nature, he is often seen walking around with a smirk, shooting off one bad joke or pun after the other. He is, however, a decent guy; friendly and caring to a fault, he cares deeply for the villagers under him, even those that he has met in battle during the dreaded Sengoku Jidai. In battle, he palys around a bit too much for his own good, seeing even the most decisive attempt on his life as a game. However, should his friends, loved ones, or the odd Sunagakure villager be threatened, he becomes serious and unrelenting.

APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE

Standing at 5'11", Igen is not the tallest man around. His hair, medium in length, is black in color, with red streaks, usually tied up in a ponytail. Usually wearing a blue kataginu under a burgundy haori, as well as blue hakama. A burgundy obi keeps his two katana and his supply pouch (located on his lower back) in place. He wears a shuriken holster on his right thigh. He usually keeps his gourd strapped on his back.

HISTORY

Teppeki Igen was born long before the founding of the first great ninja village, and from a young age, he was taught how to fight for his survival in the brutal Sengoku Jidai. His father, the clan head, was brutal in his training, trying to harden the boy into a cold-blooded ninja. However, Igen had inherited his mothers kindness, and never felt quite right having to beat up his "friends", when his father put together sparring matches. He nevertheless grew quite well, and was made an official Genin of the clan at age ten.

While still only a Genin, his father, in a continued attempt to get rid of what he called a lazy attitude, sent the boy on increasingly dangerous missions. To this day, many wonder how in the world the boy even survived to this day, but he did, quite well too. The harsh training at home, and the dangerous missions outside only helped the boy grow, and by twelve, the boy had already begun his path down the road of a Jiton user.

Chuunin came next, and the missions only grew more difficult and dangerous, but with his new found Jiton abilities, Igen was able to survive and grow further, attaining the Jounin rank at fourteen. From then on, he worked directly with his father, who had grown surprisingly old for a ninja of that time period. The man had given up on changing the boy, who continued to joke around and acting like a clown, never taking life seriously.

Many years went by, and eventually, his father died, when Igen was twenty-two. He became, slightly against his will, the new head of the clan, and has been so ever since. At twenty-five, he reached out his hand to other clans of Kaze no Kuni in response to Konohagakure being founded in Hi no Kuni, and together with other clan heads, he founded the village of Sunagakure.

When time then came for the village elders to pick a leader, Igen was surprisingly chosen. While he was a clown that never took things seriously, he knew the value of allies, not to mention he was a formidable shinobi. He took on the title with honor, and was dubbed Shodai Kazekage.

PERSONALITY

Kurotsuchi is a quiet girl, and has a hard time making friends with anyone. Keeping mostly to herself, she is a person filled with loneliness, but lacks the drive to do anything about it. Formerly, she was a happy child, but after the death of her twin brother, Hikarutsuchi, she took on the silent demeanor. She can often be found talking to "herself", though she claims she is speaking to her brother, who's spirit still lingers around her. There is no evidence that this is true though, and her parents simply believe her unable to cope with the lost of her brother.

APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE

Standing at 5'5", Kurostuchi is far from tall, and with her slim appearance, she may seem even smaller than she already is. Pale in complexion, she only grows even more so due to her semi-long black hair. Clothing wise, she usually wears a red furisode, black hakama and a black and gold lined apron on top, which grows white at the bottom. The Furisode shows her clan symbol on the back. She also wears a small string collar, a mask that covers half her face, and a pair of waraji sandals. Like all clan members, she also has a seal upon her chest.

HISTORY

Born on a cold december night to a pair of average Ochiba, nothing great was expected of the girl and her twin brother, born a few minutes prior to her. As they grew up, their parents simply tried to give them a happy childhood, despite the war going on. However, Hikarutsuchi, Kurotsuchi's twin brother, began to show increasing talents in Ninjutsu already at the age of four. Due to his abilities, he began training with his father, who hoped the boy could bring honor to the small family.

Meanwhile, Kurotsuchi stayed behind, as she showed no talents in the arts of a shinobi. She did not mind though, and simply enjoyed watching her brother practice. However, at age thirteen, everything changed. Hikarutsuchi was taken on a mission as he had many times before, though the mission turned out to be tougher than anticipated, and the young boy was killed. His father took the body home to bury, and when Kurotsuchi saw, she was devastated. Despite the clan's view of death, she could not cope with the loss of her dearest brother, and grew introverted and silent.

Besides this, she also began training hard, eventually surprising her family whens he performed her very first ninjutsu in front of them. She told them she wanted the body of her brother, and honor him by taking him into battle, as his replacement. Her mother protested, but her father decided to train her nevertheless, and while she was no Hikarutsuchi, she made progress, and by the time the village of Iwagakure had come together, she was promoted to official Genin of the village.

PERSONALITY

Shinokage is a man of the old world, even years after the foundation of the ninja villages. He has a hard time trusting new people, especially those not from his clan, and he can best be described as cold and stern. While he does see the use of the alliances and the villages, he disagree about the ones running it. while he could tolerate the first Hokage, the second Hokage, a young Senju, causes his blood to boil. Disagreeing with the "boy's" outlook on how to run a village, he seeks to overthrow him.

In battle, Shinokage shows create strategic intellect, as most of his clan. He hates playing around, and with his serious demeanor, he alsways goes for the kill in battle. However, he is a strategist before a fighter, and prefer to be the leader and otherwise supportive member of a team, letting others get their hands dirty.

APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE

Shinokage stands at six feet, and while only thirty, he shows signs of aging, a reminder of a time when life was tougher and less forgiving.He is bald, with a black goatee and small mustache. Clothing wise, the man is clad in a black ninja yoroi and matching Hakama. He wears his ninja plate, which is black in color, at most times, ready for battle, as well as a pair of waraji sandals. He wears a shuriken holster on his right thigh and has a supply pouch on his lower back, as well as a Katana hanging off a black rope belt.

HISTORY

Nara Shinokage was born longh before the founding of the first great ninja village, when life was cruel and unforgiving to a ninja. From a young age, he was taught how to fight, for his life depended on it. He was taught how to use a sword, shurike and kunai, and later on, at the age of five, he began true ninjutsu training, showing promise, and by the age of ten, he had mastered the basics of shadow style techniques.

Being the third son of the clan leader meant he was not likely to inherit the throne of the Nara, but he was content. He simply fought to protect the Nara, while his brother's acted as successors. At twelve, his father fell victim to a particularly powerful Katon, and died in a sea of flames. His body was never found, thought to have been reduced to ashes. His oldest brother, Ichikage, took his fathers place, only sixteen years old. Two years went by, before he fell as well.

Shinokage's second brother waited till he was eighteen to lead the clan himself, putting his faith in the elders to do it for him till then. And well, he did survive longer than his brother, to an age of twenty-one, but he too, fell. Eighteen years old himself, Nara Shinokage found himself in the position he had never thought he would: clan head. He was suddenly thrust into a world of politics, and he learned quickly that he did best not to show emotion. He could not allow others to read him, use him.

He grew cold and stern, and as time went by, he only grew ever more so. However, he survived, despite all odds, and when Konohagakure was formed, he was one of the few put as candidate for Hokage. However, he was set aside for one Hyuuga Hazama. He felt like the elders had made a bad choice in picking the Hyuuga, but he let it go. However, two years later, the Hyuuga fell victim to an unknown illness and died, before being replaced by a young, ignorant Senju.

Again, Shinokage's name had been uttered amongst the elders, but apparently they saw a better leader in this brat? The village was run by fools, the man thought, and he decided that he would do something about it. Forming Hakage, a secret organisation right under the Hokage's nose, he plans to dethrone the Senju and put himself on the top of the Konohagakure hierarchy...

PERSONALITY

Tengai Ryuujin is a calm man, who shows little emotion no matter the situation. Almost tranquil, he carries himself around with a certain grace, and never seem to speak rashly. His speech is formal in nature, and he always seem to show his fellow man the respect he may or may not deserve. Claiming to be the reincarnation of an old, forgotten god, he may be seen as deranged, though he does not show any other signs of being mentally unstable.

He shows little concern for the lives of others, and in many cases, even himself, as if he has come to terms with death long ago, no longer fearing it. This is actually due to the fact that he believes himself immortal, able to rise like a phoenix upon death, reincarnated in a new, and stronger, vessel. However, that is not to say he acts rashly in combat. Moving gracefully, he wastes no movements, and ruthlessly destroy any who stand in his way.

APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE

Ryuujin stands quite tall, at 6'2" and has a slender and flexible build. He has long white hair, flowing freely, and ice blue eyes. His clothes are usually pretty formal, with him wearing a kimono most of the time. This piece of clothing is white in color, fitting of his hair, and has a large circle placed on his back, symbolizing Taikyoku (the limited) surrounded by the Mukyoku (the Limitless). HISTORY

Not much is known of Tengai Ryuujin, and he has no one he wishes to share his past with. However, should you get him to talk, he would tell you a grand story of how he was a reincarnation of an ancient God, who was split into several pieces by his fellows, in jealousy of his power. He seeks to find these pieces and reunite them, being reborn anew. After that, he seeks to rid the world of life and start over...

However, the truth is that he was the son of a ninja clan which no one remembers. It was small, and dying. Ryuujin was born into this chaos, and like his clan, was hidden away in the mountains of the Lightning Country. However, only days went by before the clan's final hiding spot was found by rival clans, the remnants slaughtered. Ryuujin, who had been hidden away in a secret place, survived, and was later found by a travelling monk, who had passed on his pilgrimage and heard the baby cry. He took the child under his wing and as he grew older, even taught him the principles of Ninshu.

The boy grew fast, showing great control of chakra already at the age of four, moving far beyond normal human growth. It was then that the monk told him about the gods of old, said to have created the whole ninja world aeons ago. Maybe it was due to his childish mind, or maybe the monk's way of telling the story, but Ryuujin, having been named that by the monk, started to believe he was the reincarnation of one of the gods of the stories, one who had been betrayed by the other gods and torn to pieces.

That was when he started learning Ninjutsu. Taking the teachings he had learned from his “father”, he began to weaponize it, in the same way as ninja had done ages before. The monk told him it was wrong, but he continued, and at age ten, he left the monk to seek more power, more knowledge, and more than anything, the missing parts of his soul, as he believed.

Throughout his travels, he saw only negativity; death, destruction, sadness, hate. He loathed it. He decided that, once he had completed his transformation into a god, he would rid the world of life and start over from scratch, creating a new world, where all was perfect...
