Konoha ANBU Black Ops
The Anbu, short for Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai (暗殺戦術特殊部隊; Literally meaning "Special Assassination and Tactical Squad"), take orders directly from the Hokage, performing special high-level missions, such as assassinations and torture. The ANBU usually work in teams formed to the requirements of the mission, ensuring maximum success. The shinobi in the ANBU are hand-picked by the Kage; chosen for their individual capabilities and special skills. Age, gender, background, or previous rank bears no weight in this decision. Members can also leave the organization. They wear their mask even in their own village, for their identity as an ANBU agent is to be known only by the Kage and village elders.
Team leadership and hierarchy are based on merit and experience. The ANBU Commander is the highest position an ANBU can hold. This person works directly with the Kage in settling dire situations concerning the village. They also can command all of the separate ANBU divisions. The leaders of each individual ANBU division are known as ANBU Captains, a position held in high regard. They can control their own division under orders from the Kage or the ANBU Commander. There are five divisions within the ANBU Black Ops, after joining the ANBU; you will be assigned to a specific division. The divisions are: Hunt and Disposal, Information Retrieval, Stealth and Assassination, Protection, and Torture and Interrogation.
Konoha ANBU predominantly wear animal-styled porcelain masks, with some opting for more menacing looking creatures. They also have standard uniforms which, for Konoha ANBU, consist of black clothing, a grey flak jacket, metal arm guards and gloves, ninja sandals with spikes for travelling into mountainous regions, three ninja pouches on their back-waist and a signature spiral tattoo on their shoulder. Some Konoha ANBU wear black cloaks over their standard uniforms, and Captains may wear white cloaks. Most of them carry a sword, which is usually strapped to their backs.
Konoha ANBU are under direct control of the Hokage, and therefore, cannot be arrested by the regular police forces without a warrant. They protect the village from exceptional threats, conduct high-risk missions into enemy territory, and deal with extremely strong ninja. They are also responsible for carrying out assassinations, tracking, surveillance, and missions requiring specially trained ninja. Some ANBU serve as interrogators that probe the minds of enemy ninja to learn information valuable to the village. If an ANBU is mortally wounded in battle, they are required to destroy their bodies to prevent any information from getting into enemy hands. ANBU training involves detailed studying of the human body; hence, they have a vast knowledge of human anatomy. Several of the techniques in any ANBU arsenal, such as the Temporary Paralysis Technique, which can be used on animals as well, take advantage of this knowledge.
Hunt & Disposal Division:
The Hunt and Disposal division of the Konoha ANBU is an offensive unit. The main objectives of this division include tracking down and capturing criminals. However, the primary objective of this unit is chasing down missing ninja. Because of this, ANBU in this division are primarily sent outside the village gates and must be prepared for long-distance travel. Members of the H&D division have excellent tracking abilities and also are highly capable in one-on-one situations. While many missions are carried out by single members, if the target is a very high-level missing ninja, teams of 3-4 are commonly dispatched.
This division is considered one of the most prestigious divisions due to its importance to the other divisions. This unit works in conjunction with all other divisions and is the center of the ANBU.
The H&D division is led by a Captain who follows orders from both the Hokage and the ANBU Commander.
Information Retrieval Division:
The Information Retrieval division of the Konoha ANBU is a supplementary unit which specializes in stealth and analysis. The main objective of this division is gathering field intelligence from enemies. Because of this, ANBU in this division are primarily sent outside the village gates and must be prepared for long-distance travel. Members of the IR division must be highly skilled in concealing oneself in order to prevent being seen from the enemy. Because of the nature of their work, missions are often done by 1-2 members.
The IR division is led by a Captain who follows orders from both the Hokage and the ANBU Commander.
Stealth & Assassination Division:
The Stealth and Assassination division of the Konoha ANBU is an offensive unit. The main objectives are the elimination of targets such as foreign officials. Because of this, ANBU in this division are primarily sent outside the village gates and must be prepared for long-distance travel. Members of the S&D division are setup as lethal killing machines; they must be able to completely eliminate their target without leaving a trace behind. Because of this, they must be very skillful in stealth and killing.
The S&D division is led by a Captain who follows orders from both the Hokage and the ANBU Commander.
Protection Division:
The Protection division of the Konoha ANBU is a defensive unit. The main objective of this division is the protection of the Hokage and various council leaders within Konohagakure. This is one of the most important divisions of the ANBU and they serve as a wall of protection between Konogakure and outside forces. Members of this division must be very strong and also have an arsenal of defensive jutsu.
The Protection division is led by a Captain who follows orders from both the Hokage and the ANBU Commander.
Torture and Interrogation Division:
The Torture and Interrogation division of the Konoha ANBU is a supplementary unit. The main purpose of this division is in the extraction of important information from captured criminals and missing ninja. This division works very closely with the H&D and I&R divisions due to the teamwork required between them. Members of this division are very specialized and must undergo a grueling training process in order to learn the methods of information extraction.
The T&I division is led by a Captain who follows orders from both the Hokage and the ANBU Commander.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least the strength level of a Chuunin, meaning that they must have at least 100 EXP distributed towards their stats and have 5 additional jutsu to the basic three. However, most importantly, they must be willing to perform the dirty work necessary for the village’s operation. After, joining, the member will have to pick at least three Hijutsu and learn them. After, they will be sorted into a division and learn at least one Hijutsu from their specific division.
In order to become a Captain of a division, they must already be a member of the ANBU and demonstrate leadership abilities within their own division. They are also required to know at least three of the Hijutsu specific within their division. Captains are squad leaders and should show abilities beyond a standard member.
Commanders are chosen by the Kage and the Village Elders. Commanders should be at least Jounin rank in their village and demonstrate skill comparable to the strongest people in their respective village. They should also have a working knowledge of the entire ANBU System and are therefore allowed to learn Hijutsu from each division. After becoming a Commander, they must learn at least one Hijutsu from each division of the ANBU.
Note: This means that the new member will have to create a thread and learn four new jutsu following the standard post-count rules. This also goes for rank advancements.

The user is able to force themselves to gain amnesia and forget vital memories. While the effects differ from user, the standard effect is to erase everything. This includes personality, memories, Jutsu knowledge, even Kekkai Genkai. However, the user is able to bring back their memory after seeing a trigger item which will be marked in their brain. If a person other than the user tries to forcefully cause the amnesia to subside, they must have a higher level of control than the user or else it will not work.

A basic genjutsu which causes the user as well as the area immediately surrounding the user to change in ways to aid hiding. For example, if the ANBU member were hiding in a dark alley, the shadows would seem to converge on and surround the ANBU member, concealing them. This is purely illusory and works primarily because of its subtlety.

The user shoots a rope made out of chakra which binds the enemy’s arms or legs. This is used mainly to quickly immobilize and enemy for takedown due to its lack of strength. Because it is made of chakra, if the opponent has control higher than the user, or if they possess a chakra-related Kekkai Genkai (Hyuuga’s Juuken) they may break free.

Due to the nature of an ANBU’s job, they may have to protect certain documents, items, or even corpse. This jutsu creates a small shell made out of chakra around the specified item in order to protect it from decomposition. This effectively seals the item and prevents outside interaction unless destroyed. The jutsu usually lasts one day before requiring activation again.

A very basic tracking technique. This technique requires an object that belonged to the target; this can range from a personal belonging such as a shoe to a piece of hair. However, the maximum range of this jutsu is approximately 10 kilometers.

The user places the target’s hands behind their backs and then place their own hands over the target’s wrist. They then channel chakra and create a layer of chakra which acts as handcuffs. Similar to Hainawa no Jutsu, this relies on the level of control the user has and can be easily destroyed by clans specializing in chakra manipulation.

By channeling chakra throughout the user’s immune system, they can temporarily enhance their immune system. This is a very effective defense against basic poison mists and other attacks which directly attack the user’s internal systems.

A high-grade tracking-offensive ninjutsu where one calls upon ninken with a summoning, so they can tail the target from underground and assault it simultaneously with their fangs.
After the user marks an opponent with his or her blood, they roll out a scroll and smear their blood across it. Afterwards they place it between their hands and make the seals before slamming the scroll into the ground. The ninken are summoned there and travel through the ground following the scent of the blood. When the target is found, they erupt from the ground and hold down the opponent with their mouths.

A high level tracking technique whereby the user is able to discern the location of their target through the target’s blood. This is a very effective tracking technique because it discovers the area that the target is in and thereby removes the threat of any false trails. However, a drawback is that the blood must be less than a week old. The maximum distance that it can be used to track is approximately 20 kilometers.

Having mastered the art of tracking, H&D members are always weary of being tracked by enemy teams and therefore have mastered the ability to erase their own trails and create new ones in a different direction. The basic application of this jutsu is to transfer both their physical and spiritual imprints to a wild animal and instead make it appear as if they were them.

Because H&D members are often required to capture and not kill their target, they must be able to aim for areas on their target which will not kill but paralyze instead. This jutsu allows the user to use their own chakra, similar to the chakra string of a puppet, and adjust the flight pattern of a thrown weapon.

Members of the IR division are capable of duplicating the voice of any person they have heard speak. This is an extremely useful technique when trying to impersonate a person to obtain intelligence. A drawback however, is that while the frequency of the person’s voice can be copied, the language the person uses has to be learned and studied upon.

The shell has a much larger surface area than their feet and disperses the weight of the user much more evenly, reducing any signs of a footprint. This jutsu creates a small layer of chakra around traps, making them even less noticable. This technique lets the traps such as wires go up with the surroundings even more, making them completely invisible. Certain Doujutsu are able to detect this however, such as the Byakugan or the Sharingan as they can see chakra.

Creates a dome of around 10 meters surrounding the user which does not allow sound waves to escape. This jutsu works in that chakra is permeated from the body of the user and is used to absorb both incoming and outgoing sound waves. The major disadvantage with this jutsu is that they cannot hear outside sounds just as outsiders cannot hear them.

The use of a bladed weapon is highly focused in the S&A division of the ANBU. This fighting style, while not as flashy as other styles, takes advantage of extreme lethal effectiveness. Strikes are always efficient and use the least movement possible to attack a vital point. This style is a very effective method of attack for one-on-one encounters, especially surprise attacks.

Channeling chakra into their arms and hands, a preparation which takes little to no time for a Jounin of this level, hand seals are made to concentrate the chakra further, hardening the appendages to be used. Then, slamming their palms onto the ground, a large wall of dirt and earth erupt from the epicenter and travel around the user in what looks to be waves or miniature explosions that are about 5-10 meters high. These waves travel for about a radius of another 25 meters and serves to both destroy/alter terrain, make it extremely hard for an opponent to move, and can potentially flatten them as well if they are caught between two waves.

TORTURE & INTERROGATION HIJUTSU

Requirements: Kuchiyose no Jutsu
This technique is used to summon an iron torture chamber around the user and the opponent. First, the enemy's arms and legs are captured by four chains, and then the walls of the cage appear flat on the ground, quickly folding together to box them in. Finally, a large statue falls atop the cage, which is then tightly bound in chains.
The floor of the cage is outfitted with a number of gears that can be turned to constrict garrotte wire, which is tightly wrapped around the victim's body. The user can control the force of the gears using hand seals and chakra, using it as a method of torture and interrogation. However, he also feels the same pain as the victim.

An advanced torture technique of the T&I division of ANBU. This causes the sensitivity of the target's nerves to increase tenfold, such that the slight prick of a needle is felt like the stabbing of a knife. Used to physically break captives, the effect lasts for one hour and may be used consecutively. Skilled usershave learned through previous training how to keep their captive conscious, so the target remains awake and very much in pain. Given enough time, this technique can break the will of most shinobi. This technique can also be used in combat; the user must touch his opponent. The effect, however, is the same.

Much like Kanashibari, this is instead a much refined and potent version. Gathering all their mental focus into the process of performing this jutsu, the proper seals are performed and then the target is bound in place. As the namesake entails, all sensation is lost to the user, literally becoming numb over the entire span of their body. The user will use this technique to paralyze a captive, then proceed to use whatever torture method they prefer on their person till releasing the jutsu and allowing them to feel the full measure of their pain in a single moment. Obviously, it is quite a devastating jutsu in that respect. In combat situations it is slightly less effective.
The effect of this technique when used in combat can only be maintained so long as the user remains stationary and keeps eye contact with the target. If in any way their view is substantially obscured, the connection is broken and the target is able to move. This Jutsu may be broken by an ally using Kai on the victim and can only be used once on any given target.

The user enters the target's subconscious by placing a hand on the target's head and extracts any information needed, even if the target has forgotten it or has had it blocked. Memories that have mental blocks on them will require longer periods of time to probe through and obtain however. Depending on the skill of the user and their level of experience, they will be able to go through days worth of the target's memories in a matter of moments and sift through until they find what they want while other may have to go through each memory in its entirety.
